Find Your Support System
One of the very best things you can do in your quest for health is to find a support system. A fitness community that will help you meet your fitness and nutrition goals.
Ever had one of those days where you just don’t feel like working out? Maybe you’re tired, stressed, or just feel like having a lazy night in…..??♀️
We often try to talk ourselves out of exercising, internally justifying the decision. We negotiate with ourselves in some way to make missing a workout seem OK.
But, have you ever been in that situation while knowing that your workout partner(s) or classmates are counting on you to be there?
The outcome is usually different as you don’t want to let them down.
A Fitness Community Equals Success
Fostering a supportive community around you is vital for your fitness journey! Here’s why:
1️⃣ Motivation. Finding motivation within yourself day in and day out can be tough. It’s inevitable that there will be days where motivation is lacking, and having a supportive community around you will help you during these times.
2️⃣ Energy. Energy is contagious. And when energy is magnified by a group of people, it becomes even more so. Having good positive energy around you will help you get through your workout, even if your mind is telling you that you can’t.
3️⃣ Accountability. We all need someone to hold us accountable. Whether it be a workout buddy, a coach, a family member, etc. Being held accountable keeps us consistent, and consistency is important for any health/fitness goal.
4️⃣ Support. Sometimes we need our support systems to show us that we’re not alone in what we’re facing, and with a little hard work, we can surpass our limitations.
Surround yourself with people who will bring out the best in you, and becoming healthy will happen faster, seem easier, and will no doubt be more fun ?????
